The FAQ’s…

Does it hurt?

Yes, but there are many factors that go in to it such as:
Tolerance for pain.
Location of the tattoo
Size & style of the tattoo; many times the larger the tattoo the less pain typically.

What does a tattoo cost?

The cost of a tattoo depends on size, detail, and placement of the tattoo.  We charge flat rate for most smaller designs and do hourly for larger tattoos. Keep in mind even small highly detailed designs can cost the same as a larger simple design. In that case, your best bet would be to come in and talk to one of our artist.
The hourly rate depends on the artist that does the work.

How do deposits work?

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Deposits are placed at the time of booking as a “good faith” commitment that you promise to show for all scheduled appointments. IT IS NOT AN EXTRA COST, rather, your deposit is included in the overall cost of your tattoo. Deposits are made in case you are unable to make your appointment. It covers the artists time, product and lost wage. If you can’t keep your scheduled appointment, please call within 48 hours to avoid needing a new deposit for your tattoo.

What if I can’t keep my appointment?

As stated above, please call within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment to avoid losing your deposit, this allows your artist time to fill that slot with another client who is also eager to get worked on. WE WILL HOLD YOUR DEPOSIT ON RESCHEDULING TWICE, upon the third rescheduling we will require a new deposit*.
*At artists discretion.

No call, no show…

Deposits stand in as compensation for the artists lost time and wages as that slot could have been used for another client.  This is an industry wide standard which may seem stern, but places high value on our time as freelance artists who (in an effort to be completely transparent) only earn wages when they are actually performing procedures. Missed appointments can adversely affect the lives of the artist, their families and children, especially if they have multiple “no-shows” in succession.

Multi-session Works Deposits $100-$500

For the sake of simplification for multi-session works, a portion of your deposit remains until your LAST session. Your deposit will be divided into approximately even portions and applied to each session until your very last session, divided at the artists discretion.

When your deposit has been spent down to the last $50 it will no longer apply to your appointment but continue to hold your slot until your very last session.

What should I get?

What are steps to make sure it heals correctly?

Walk-ins

We love and appreciate when our clients come for walk ins! Your artist will work hard to design your tattoo just the way you want it. Many times larger pieces are not able to be done on a walk-in basis.

What determines the cost/length of an appointment?

Your total cost is determined by style, placement, size and detail. Overall cost of hourly sessions can be affected by how well you sit, by cooperating with your artist you can save some cash. We price tattoos accordingly and as closely to the actual cost as possible.

Please be aware that the total cost of your tattoo may be adjusted at the artists discretion if your tattoo ends up costing more or less than the estimated amount.  We will always strive to do what is fair for everyone involved.
